Mark McPherson

The youngest of three hearing children with deaf parents, a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults). Mark discovered a love for medieval history in the late-1990s while out for a walk in the English Midlands, stumbling on the location of Richard III's death in battle in Bosworth.
In the years following, historical fiction titles at bookstores and libraries rarely delivered the dark medieval worlds Mark craved, and so he simply resolved to write what he wanted to read.
Mark started work on The Conquest of Foy in 2006.

He currently lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and two teenage children.
